Product
All of our products are hand-poured in small quantities on the Gippsland Lakes, Victoria, guaranteeing maximum freshness with each batch.
Our serums, body oil, cleanser and balm all contain 100% plant based and 98% organic ingredients.
Some of our essential oils will not be organic as we prefer to source essential oils that are wild harvested from their native location ensuring their purity.
Many of these suppliers haven’t yet achieved organic certification, despite using organic methods.
Our Facial Mist is 95% organic.
All of our products are vegan with the exception of our Organic Healing Balm and our Belly Balm. These products contain organic beeswax, sustainably sourced from our local area.
We never use ingredients that have been tested on animals. We only test on willing humans.
All our products are devoid of palm oil or any palm oil derivatives. We hold palm oil-free certifications specifically for our coconut oil and Vitamin E, as these ingredients commonly contain palm oil derivatives.
Absolutely. We use only 100% plant based, naturally derived ingredients.

The majority of our products are oil based and therefore don’t require a preservative.
Our Facial Mist contains Sandalwood Hydrosol which contains water, therefore requiring a preservative. We have chosen Leucidal (approved for use in certified organic products) as this is derived from radishes fermented with Leuconostoc Kimchi, a lactic acid bacterium traditionally used to make kimchi and is shown to have anti-microbial properties.
We’ve also chosen violet glass bottles for our packaging. This type of glass manages to block the complete spectrum of visible light with the exception of infrared light and UVA (violet light). This unique property offers optimal protection against the ageing processes which occur by exposure to visible light thus increasing shelf life and further reducing the need for added preservatives.
We recommend using our products within 12 months of opening.
We recommend storing our products below 30° C in order to slow down the natural process of oxidation.
Just start with a drop or 2 and increase if you feel your skin needs it.
You may wish to use a little more in the evenings or during times when your skin needs extra hydration.
Our balm has soothing and calming properties which have a powerful effect on dry and irritated skin, burns and scars, yet is gentle enough to use on your face. It’s particularly useful in the cooler months when our skin often requires extra moisture.
Yes! If exposed to a higher temperature, your balm may soften a little. As it cools down and becomes solid again, it may appear grainy. This is totally normal and does not affect its performance at all. Once applied it will melt again with contact on your skin.
Merkaba Skincare uses the highest quality plant derived ingredients and therefore allergies are uncommon. However, occasionally an adverse reaction cannot be avoided.
If you have a history of skin sensitivities, we recommend a ‘patch test’ on a small area inside your wrist prior to using.

In the event of a skin reaction, we may offer a store credit at our discretion if the following criteria are met:
- The cost of return shipping with tracking is the responsibility of the customer.
- The initial shipping cost is nonrefundable.
- The product must be at least 50% full.
- The product must be undamaged with original packaging.
Our belly balm has been specially formulated for pregnancy, containing very minimal amounts of the safest essential oils.
The majority of our other products are generally safe to use during pregnancy. However, as they contain essential oils, it's always advisable to consult your medical professional prior to use.
Because we use essential oils in our products, we don’t recommend you use them on children under the age of six.
We take pride in ensuring that the percentage of essential oils is always within the safety parameters, however babies and children under the age of 6 years require further dilution of these ingredients.
Packaging

Merkaba Skincare is strongly against the usage of packaging that has a negative impact on the environment. Therefore, it is of utmost importance for us to choose the most eco-friendly and sustainable packaging options.
Our glass bottles are completely recyclable. We don’t use outer packaging for our products. As enticing as an attractive box may be, we maintain a commitment to avoid all unnecessary trimmings.
Our mailing boxes are fully recyclable, and our mailing bags are fully biodegradable and home compostable.

Yes, an order may be cancelled on the day it is placed.
Unfortunately, after this time we cannot accept cancelations as we aim to dispatch orders within 24 to 48 hours.
SHIPPING
- Regular post - Orders over $100 - Free Shipping
- Regular post - Orders under $100 - $10.00
- Express shipping – All orders -$14.00.
Although express shipping will be faster than standard delivery, orders are shipped in regional Victoria, therefore next day delivery will generally not apply.
Yes we do. We use Australia Post Express for all of our international orders due to the superior tracking.
Please take note that our glass bottles are quite heavy and this will be reflected in the shipping costs.
International shipping rates will vary according to the size of your order and the destination country. These orders may also be subject to customs duties and taxes. The customer is responsible for any fees that may be incurred. If you wish to send an order overseas, please email us at info@merkabaskincare.com.au
We are not responsible for any missing shipments once they have been marked completed by Australia Post. Please carefully check your order and destination address on the checkout page.
Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email.
If you don’t receive this email, please ensure that you have completed the payment process and also check junk email. A further confirmation email and tracking number will be sent to you once the order is dispatched.
If a product arrives damaged or if you received the wrong item, please email info@merkabaskincare.com.au within 7 days of purchase providing details with photographs, name and order number.
If approved, we’ll send you a return shipping label. Upon receipt of the product, we will happily replace it for you. Items sent back without requesting a return will unfortunately not be accepted.
SUBSCRIPTION PLAN
Choose your Subscription intervals from 1 or 2 months, never run out of your favourite products and earn a 30% discount.
When you choose a ‘Subscription Item’, you are committing to purchasing and receiving a second shipment of that particular product.
A Subscription plan may be cancelled any time after shipment of the second product. This can be up to 1 day before the next shipment is due.
